Bush asks for another 3.2 billion and 8200 troops

3 days ago the democrat party announced that it planned on having the troops home sometime within the next year,with the presidents blessing. What does ol G.W. do he asks for more money and asks to send more troops. THIS MAKES ME SICK, when will this stop

it'll stop when the democrats get the backbone to stop passing symbolic, non-binding resolutions. Since they're in campaign mode, they're not about to go on record with defunding legislation.

maybe not, but it's reality. as Commander in Chief, the President is the one who decides where to send the military, Congress then funds the deployment. If you want all this to stop, elect democrats who aren't going to go to Washington DC for the retirement benefits.

he overthrew saddam because his daddy couldn't. i hate him as every american should. he is what's wrong in everyway with all the political powers today.:good!:

Every American should hate their freely elected President??? Are you also implying that we could not have overthrown Hussein during Operation Desert Storm?

Not sure what your first sentence has to do with your statement that all he cares about is power. What power did this bring him?

Your second sentence, telling every American how they should feel, tells me a little about your wish for power.

it's all about his legacy and how much power he can get. when i think of W i think of hitler. i know i'll get flamed for that, but that is who i think of. i've never disliked a president or thought a president didn't have the USA as his number one priority untill W. the man is all about himself. he really seems to get off, on pissing everybody off. he loves the attention.:eek:hmy:

When you say hate do you really mean hate?

Given that hate is such a strong emotion, do you think those feeling visceral hate for the man can objectively evaluate any decision he makes?

I can't think of an elected official (past or present) that I hate. I can think of several whose personality I disliked and I can think of several whose policies I strongly disagreed with.

I'd say that deserves a flaming :)

Let me see if I've got this straight; Bush is all about himself and enjoys pissing people off -- he likes the attention -- and that is why he is just like Hitler? Sounds more like Barry Bonds or Morton Downey, Jr.

we should have finished this war in Desert Storm. When we went back this time with no WMD's there was really no reason for us to be there. We took down a crazy leader, thats good but no reason to go over there. If were going after crazy guys who kill there own people then we should send our troops to about 20 other countries too. We shouldnt be over there, this should have been finished in Desert Storm, and now that they left it they should have left it for good and not gone back.

W will go down as the most incompetent president to come through the White House.. It's absolutely sickening that this keeps going on. I guees we'll have to bear another year and a half of this nonsense as it looks now..

I can tell Bush has been listening to his poll data. Thats what makes him a great president. In touch with the will of the American People.

considering that you're only 19 and that you were essentially a toddler when Bill Clinton first raised taxes on dead people, you don't have a lot of experience to back up that assertion.

Some day soon the real world is going to welcome you into it's meat grinder and you won't be able to rely on a parent or teacher to spoon feed you your opinions.

I'm not implying that W. is the greatest President in history, far from it. But to say he's the worst, discounting Carter, Ford, and Fillmore shows a certain ignorance of US history.
