Yep. We tried to "handle the problem" ourselves until the NCAA gave us no choice. Same thing is coming with OSU. Right now they're exactly where we were in September.

That's not the point.

The point is everyone on the long list that kept saying "I'm in" and "count me in" didn't quite get what Pearl achieved here.

I hope the best for the new coach. I hope he does better than Pearl and never has to break a single rule to do it. But Pearl deserved more. he didn't deserve to be called trash and having about 200 people on volantion form a list saying they think he's easily replaceable. because he wasn't. We hired down.

The new coach likely won't get us put on probation by the NCAA. That makes him a better coach.

Let's make a bet: in the same span of time, as his predecessor, he will have no major NCAA investigations.

If you don't take the bet, you're admitting that Pearl was an untrustworthy scoundrel who ruined the program he built.

I don't think you understand that 2 years ago, we might have been able to hire a "big-name" coach. The reason our job is so unattractive now isn't because this has been a historically hard place to coach. It is because Bruce screwed it up.

I am betting the new guy can't match Pearls stats in the same time period plus a year. This is a fair logical bet.

You said Tennessee would NEVER AGAIN have back to back sweet sixteens OR an elite eight, OR a number 1 ranking. That is what I challenged you on. You think I'm gutless, I think you're brainless.

You don't seem to realize that none of that matters now since the program is being torn apart due to him cheating, lying, and continuing to cheat. I guess you're okay with that.
