Did he jump or is he on a stool?

Having never seen him in person, he looks short on TV. GO VOLS!

Can we just stop the high jump celebrations before we tear up a bunch of acl. Bout as dated as the Gatorade bath for every "big" win. There's a saying. Act like you've been there before!

No room for celebration or expressing excitement, huh?

That's the thing though, most of these kids have not BEEN THERE BEFORE while at UT, so if they wan to jump into each other and take a bath in Gatorade when something good happens so be it. I am sure the training staff will take your concerns into account though.

Exactly! I actually like a coach who interacts with his players like this.

He used Dooley's old stool. It was left behind for Saban to stand on so he could see the field. Butch found use number two.

Troll be trollin' :dunno:
Or are you just against kids and coaches having fun because you're a miserable old fart?
BTW.....its always fun to see a HC interact and be excited with his players!

That jump celebration was totally spontaneous.

IIRC, This was early on when Lane and Neal had to learn just how much blocking they would have to do in the new offense. They were doing drills where Lane had to block AJ "The Beast" Johnson. It took a few practices and a lot of punishment and "mental conditioning", but Lane finally started winning some of these battles and that is what prompted the celebration.

Basically, in this offense if the RB can't block they can sit by the Gatorade and keep the cups full.

If they tear an ACL jumping eight inches off the ground, they shouldn't be playing or coaching football. I think the odds for safety in a jump bump are pretty good.

You're probably one of the people that want CCM fired because he doesn't have enough passion or stick up for his players. Some people will never be happy.
