He's everything we need in a coach right now. He's very technique oriented, he knows how to coach multiple positions on offense, he's full of energy, and he gets all over guys when they mess up. There will be zero tolerance for half azzing it anymore. There won't be anymore heads down or dumb mistake after dumb mistake because CBJ won't go for that. He'll hold everyone accountable, and when the starting 22 are announced come Sept. we will all know those are our 22 best, hard working, dedicated players because CBJ won't have it any other way.

Paul Harris is a HS senior? Wow!
Big kid.
Could be an interesting year. I just wonder how infectious this will be to the fan base? Curious how that 1st home game will be.

Brewer, Waggner, Gorden all have something in common, they're slowwwwwwww. When you are slow and go through the motions of practice jogging you're going to get called out. Brewer has to bust his butt to make up for the lack of natural speed. We need Brewer to step up and play some WLB for us with Sapp rotating in too. DB and LB is the two spots we can't afford to lose anybody at or have guys playing at that are not giving their all.

Boys it is different now, it feels good to now you got a coach that can make at least a halftime adjustment, and can relate to the kids instead of running around telling kids parents how smart himself is.

Honestly it does "seem" different.... I will withold my feelings, not to see if he wins, but to see if the team competes until the last whistle and I want to see it when it hurts the most. It's trial by fire, when we're down big late in the third.....then what happens, especially if our record is not what we want at the time. That will tell me what I need to know !

I do agree, but Jones system is made to wear opponents down. We may be thin at LB, DB, etc but are players are going to be in superior shape compared to last year. This, along with a new scheme change, should keep our defense from giving up 500 yards a game and 35 plus points. We should compete with everyone outside Bama and maybe GA IMO.
