Hope Worley can be a "game manager" and not turn it over with INT's or TO. IF....IF he can dink and dunk his way with the occasionally deep bomb or slant to the WR's AND get a decent running game spread the ball with 4 WR and Hurd/Lane.

Hope he can put up stats such as pass for 2,300 yards throw 15 TD and 8 INTs we be GOOD

This kind of random in this forum.. But I'm going to the Utah state game. It's my 1st game in several years. And 1st since being old enough to drink..I'm not very familiar with knoxville. Where should I go for Saturday night festivities restaurant/bars and Sunday tailgating? Does anyone like sell a wristband for eating/drinking anywhere or would I just be better off bringing beer myself on game day? Thanks!

Peterman has had a fine Summer, particularly the last week or two. But that is not enough to start him over a relatively reliable senior. Worley is in a better position to manage the field, and keep our receivers happy.

If Worley doesn't have a great start to the season, then we can bring in Peterman after a game or two.

Yeah sure, let's give him his second start against Oklahoma and then wonder why he doesn't do good again. I'm fine with Worley starting, we all knew it anyway, but letting him play against the "weaker teams on our schedule" and throwing Peterman in against the rest of the Sec would likely end the same way for us and Peterman. Bad idea!

It's about time! I can't believe Butch left us so little time to second guess his decision before the opener.

Seriously, I think the operative term here is not so much 'Worley,' as 'named a starting QB.' Through the rest of fall practice, knowing who the starting QB will be is going to provide stability and give every other player on offense one less thing to think about.
