The lady asked will we see a "QB change" he said No. He's not planning to start a freshman he didn't answer if someone would get any playing time.

It was what they said after that got me. "Butch wants to keep the red shirts." Hope they're assuming wrong.

He probably meant we wouldn't see a change because of the interceptions. But if we don't see another QB at all in the second half, it's probably evidence that the freshmen aren't very good.

Yeah... cause that worked out so well with the guy who beat BOTH OF THE FRESHMEN OUT for #2, right?

No. He may have enough insight to know that Worley doesn't "suck" as bad as a lot of you seem to want to think. If you can't see MASSIVE improvement in his play today then you aren't watching the same game. He's been accurate save two passes. He's been on time. He's thrown with plenty of zip.

As I said before this game, it is a "put your coaching into practice" game. They've diagnosed Worley's problems and made improvements as seen in the first half- 15/22 for 150 2 TD's and 2 INT's (one of which was clearly on Pig) is a very good compared to EVERY other game this year.

This D is better than WKU's.

I guess that's OK against South Alabama. I'm willing to say out loud that he wont be 15/22 against an SEC team. We will see I guess. Its just sad these days.

I disagree with that decision. With Peterman hurt and Ferguson in the #2 spot, how do you not get him some reps against S. Alabama? What if Worley gets hurt against Georgia? You gonna throw a true freshman out there with absolutely no game experience against that defense? I really do try not to play armchair coach but this decision makes no sense to me.

The question was whether or not we would see a different qb in the second half and he said no. Obviously, a freshman qb isn't starting today.

Maybe he just meant he wouldn't replace a struggling Worley. One of the freshman should at least play mop up duty

I for sure would not take the red shirts off my young guys we need them for the future

Red shirts are really overrated, especially when one of the freshman HAS to be a backup right now. Besides, neither of these guys are 5 star guys anyway. The way Butch is recruiting, one would think he'd be able to snag a really good dual threat guy in the next couple of classes.

We are one demensional without a passing attack. Won't bode well against SEC. And this game isn't over yet.

um... why wouldnt you believe what the man said? It was pretty decisive if you ask me.

The freshmen will only play in emergency situations. And I am starting to believe that losing football games does not constitute an emergency to CBJ.

Coach speak... All he has done so far...

This is killing me. At this point, just put Dobbs in there and let him keep it everytime. Or put Pig in the wildcat.
