Butch losing to UCA

Butch had flaws (hiring an OC to run his outdated offense being the biggest) but I always wonder if we don’t blow Oklahoma and Florida if it works here for Butch. That team goes 10-2 (and id argue beats Arkansas if they don’t blow the Florida game) and faces Bama (who we lost to in the final minutes at Tuscaloosa) in the SEC title game. We get a NY6 bowl…idk maybe it still all goes to hell but it makes we wonder.

I must have missed when Dooley even sniffed an SEC East title.

Butch should have took the Dabo approach. Hire great assistants instead of his buddies and stay out of their way. Have him focus on recruiting.

He had potential to be a great coach but like you said, his pride got in the way too much.

Way too insecure.
