Honestly I thought Jones was a mid-major level HC... but may have been wrong. Apparently his 5-19 record at Arkansas State isn't impressing folks. His $3.2 million buyout is looking increasingly attractive. Wonder if Saban still needs someone to fetch his coffee?

I have a new title for him, Snack Room Coordinator

He may want to go here for some opportunities. Seems like, at least from the business name, like something ol' Lyle might be interested in investigating.

No idea how much money he has been able to save, but if I were him, I'd retire. There's got to be 100 things more desirable than being a failing football coach.

I'm not so sure Botch is going to have much of a day in the manner.

What is the point in calling yourself a CFB coach if nobody will hire you for any position

Lyle and I will both be watching CFB from our couches by mid season.

I also thought ArkSt should be about his speed.
I have been told he can no longer attract or keep decent assistants.
Jancek and Bajakian made him at Cincy, and Jancek was better than we ever suspected at UT.

...and Mike DeBord was also better than Butch deserved. It became obvious DeBord was the brains of the outfit after his tenure ended.

He has made more money in buyouts than most of us will make in 20 yearsā€¦I think he is doing just fine.

Another rotten branch on the Saban coaching tree. There have been more than a few.

Wait wait wait. Far be it from me to defend the man but Saban deserves some credit here. He was smart enough to throw him out of all offense meetings when he tried to be an analyst.
