I think its sad because I like the person that CCM is but damn, he leaves us all scratching our heads when it comes to coaching.

Another Hammy mistake. To have Zo replace Pearl. Zo is a reserved person and Pearl is a media darling. I think Zo can be a really good coach at a mid major but not at a major university where you must have PR skills and get to the big dance every year.

This was not a Hammy mistake. This was a Cheek mistake. All Hammy was is the front man for Cheek, as is Hart. Sooner people realize that this screwed up, sorry excuse for an athletic department is a direct reflection of Jimmy Cheeks view of what a college AD should look like, the sooner he can be removed.

Well he is running a big $$$ program in the ground not a good humanitarian foundation so I don't know what you are scratching your head about. The guy needs to be gone.

We can can afford a very good coach. The problem is we won't. The Administration has no desire to build championship level programs at UT. They are content with the middle of the road programs.

Sounds like a lot of kneejerk, Cleveland type fans to me. Of course Haslem is up there in Cleveland. Figures. Maybe we should've fired Cuonzo in year one like we were laying down the law and then seen how many coaches flocked to us. I know that's always a great move and brings them out in droves. They line up for that maneuver. If after 4-5 years we get no better, they should look for a new coach. But that's how long he should get. He was left with nothing. The two best players on the team left the year he took over and they only managed a 19-15 record the year before to. How we made it to the dance that year and not the next is beyond me. But since being added to the field of 64 is all that seems to register with some....19-15, 19-15, 19-15, 19-15, 19-15, 19-15!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Same same, samo samo.

Wow I spend most of my time in the recruiting forum. I come to the basketball forum to see that they are calling for Bruce Pearl to return.. What ever happened to supporting your coach until the end? People always figure that the grass is greener on the other side... Its greener where u water it... Support our team and coach. Hiring and firing Tennessee Basketball coaches is not in your job description as a fan u should support and not second guess.. SMH

I am a US citizen, do I HAVE to support the president? Do I have to support a horrible money manager for a mutual fund? I can take my money elsewhere.

If fans pay money and donate to the school, we can certainly demand excellence.
