Like everyone else on here, I'm glad Byron Moore is a Vol. He has to be an inspiration to those around him.

I really believe this is the type of player Butch is trying to bring into our program. For all that's bad in the world, Byron Moore is a shinning light. He is truely a blessed man and I too am glad he's a VFL.

That guy just jumped to the top of my "favorite Vols" list. Football aside, if we all carried this perspective with us everyday, the world would be a much more pleasant place.

Being a Medic I see young patients from time to time. Cancer is a nasty, and disgusting disease. I have lost family members to this disease, like many of you who post here. This young girl, Kate is an absolute Hero in every sense of the word. I see these young children and it tears my heart wide open, but at the same time I see courage, determination, and most of all love. True love and kindness, not the look of defeat or pity or even envy. And every time I get to speak to one of these children, they put a smile on my face.
Truly they are amazing in everything they do. It is my believe that they are angels sent from above. My heart goes out to the Norman's and know that Kate is walking in heaven.

Some on VN are looking for you, duck.

I think most players would be grateful for the satisfaction knowing how they touched the beautiful girl in her last days, But BM seems to know the satisfaction he got when the little girl touched his life. I wish him the best and know he will go far in life no matters what happens in football.

I remember hanging on every refresh when it was between us and Miami to get Byron. Although things haven't been as anyone hoped on the field (thank you prior staff), I think we can all agree that Byron Moore has exceeded any and all expectations off the field and represents a true VFL.

He was one of the dim spots in our d last year. 5 picks in sals crap d is not bad at all.

Guys like Byron can make such a big difference in the lives of terminally ill and their families. When my little sister was dying of cancer at age 11, she got to hang out with NSYNC for a day and she was so unbelievably ecstatic. Byron you and all the VFL's that do good like this make a lasting impression you can't begin to understand. Thank you for being apart of this football program.

Byron has started coming to the church I attend in Maryville. Everyone there has taken a liking to him.
