I didn't see a specific thread in here so I'm starting one. This kid is the worst defensive secondary player I have ever seen. It's not that he isn't physically capable, it's that he doesn't know the play book, at all. He is playing the last man on d to save a score and he is solely responsible for more big play scores from other teams than any player I can think of. His blown coverage and hideous coverage skills lost us the game against mizzou, and quite possibly Uga and sc too. Now we either have multiple coaches that couldn't see this, evident, or he really is just the best player we have for that. However bb is better than him, and now we have a freshman playing along Moore as if Moore wasn't bad enough. Moore needs to be benched plain and simple. he's a handicap.

If only one kid was the problem, as you claim, then I guess the wrong kid is playing at Tenn. Tech.

I disagree and I'll make a few points. One, the whole secondary sucks collectively--as a unit they are completely incapable of playing man to man. Moore hasn't been any world beater but he has 4 INT's--better than zero. The unit as a whole is poor and that's a coaching thing. It's not a one player thing it's from the top down.

It is not the players fault. Blame Dooley. Blame Sal. They are the ones out there repeatedly ****ing up. Moore will be the first safety taken off of the board. Being compared to Ed Reed. Check Todd McShay and Mel Kiper.

These kids, the secondary especially, are simply not coached well. It is hard to blame the players when the coaches hired to teach them have no business holding SEC jobs.

Apparently, Teague was the worst DB of all time. Apparently, Coleman is the worst DB of all time. Apparently, Moore is also the worst DB of all time.

I'm noticing a trend. Maybe, just maybe, the secondary coach sucks.

It's funny how some of you bash on these players when most of you are probably overweight slobs who can't run for a solid 2 minutes with out having a heart attack.

You could start this same thread about almost any one of our defensive starters considering how bad our D is. There is no reason to single out one player for our breakdowns and overall confusion on how to play D. That's on the coaching, all the way.

 Kind of like those people bashing coaches but have not coached peewee football, let alone college.

I wonder if you know whose number Moore is? Other poster is correct, Coleman is flat out lost out there. Prentiss is very inconsistent, and Gordon takes a lot of risks resulting in some plays where he is burned. Randolph injury killed our safeties along with brewer being a no show. Moore does seem to be a little late and started the season better. He is far better in run support, imo

He has looked lost quite a lot & takes bad angles more times than not. He was a part of or solely responsible for all 5 tds vs usce. Secondary problems are both talent & coaching imo.

Yes he sucks, but constantly being out of position is do to poor coaching. At this level it is inexcusable

When players make dumbass errors, it is coaching.
When players make a play, it is their extreme talent that rises above terrible coaching.
Easy to see for a blind man.

He started the year strong but like the rest of the d, seems to have regressed. Even when he is in position to make a play he doesn't hit anyone.
