It is not the players fault. Blame Dooley. Blame Sal. They are the ones out there repeatedly ****ing up. Moore will be the first safety taken off of the board. Being compared to Ed Reed. Check Todd McShay and Mel Kiper.

Where are you getting this information?

Yes, yawn, fade route, what an excellent contribution you made to the conversation. As usual...

There wasn't a conversation to contribute to, just another also-ran thread about how we blow on D. It's just been covered, and covered, and covered,......................................and covered. Sorry my one word post caused you so much distress.

 Kind of like those people bashing coaches but have not coached peewee football, let alone college.

You don't have to be a former or current coach to know that if you're 0-6 in the SEC, your coach aint gettin it done.

Moore is in good position on the one td. All he has to do is find the ball and pick it off.

If you go back to week one he has 4 picks and 7 times he should have deflected/picked ball off. That is why we give up so many yards. This man to man defense means one mistake back there and you are burnt. Wilcox played a safer defense. Still got blown to hell by any team with a pulse. The only difference was the amount of yards given up. We still have the same bad players from last year mostly. A few newcomers, but not enough.

Idk if it was colman or moore but on one of the passing TD plays the DB was right there and never turned his head to defend the ball..... You have to defend the effing ball , not let him catch it and then try to swat it..

Congrats! But if you keep hanging on to this level of misguided anger you'll quickly eat your way back to being a fatass. Good Luck!

These kids put in more hours than you; CFB at this level is a full time job on top of classes.

Good or bad players, when the announcers on SEC Network are literally calling the coverage in overtime, your DBs don't stand a chance.

Literally makes no sense at all. Especially when you consider the fact that the announcer is a HT winning qb who made a life out of recognizing coverages and knowing where to go with the ball. We can't disguise coverages because our players were to dumb to keep it all straight. So we dumbed it down so they could understand what to do.
Which was the true death knell for Dooley, dumbing down stuff for college kids. smdh.

It is silly to blame the players when this whole defense is a conceptual nightmare.

The front end and back end are confused and disconnected from each other. This speaks of a lack of coaching , coordination, and communication.

It is overly complex . You can see the pause and sluggishness at the snap and the players go thru countless keys. They actually try to play man from zone looks and vice versa. This is ill conceived , it gives receivers tooo much real estate to work with. You have LBs rather than safeties mans up on slots, too much committed inside and no containment or run funnelling. Stupid

Fundamentals like tackling , angles , pad leverage , appear to be uncoached. These things are not talent related .

There is virtually no pass rush from the from 3 or 4 .

All of the players on the field are nationally recruited by major programs coast to coast. It is clear that coaching and design are the reasons for failure

Doesn't matter anymore. Season is just about over.

Thanks for telling the truth, BigOrangeD...Alcohol is a major killer.

I'll give you another (off-the-subject) fact: In 4 years of involvement in World War II, nearly 425,000 U.S. citizens were killed. In 1 year, there are more U.S. citizens (about 443,000) that die from the results of tobacco use...

We are a nation in denial about our real problems.

Recruiting has sucked. We have a bad defensive roster.

Actually Moore, Mcneil, Bonner were all highly sought after recruits. Well as the star gazers would say. Look at their offer lists. Its coaching.

Pwag had 7 interceptions a few years back in wilcoxs system. He was on best DB watch list last year and now he even looks constantly confused on where to be in Sals system. All comes back to coaching

Wag picked one Saturday. When he played the technique CORRECTLY. Consistency is a function of talent. We need talent. A bunch of our freshmen will be good players. But senior and juniors wise (who win in this league) we are terrible. Blame Dooley all you want. Blame Sal. I could make a two-deep from our league and use no one from UT. Because there is no experienced talent on D. None. At all. Wilcox hid it well (statwise). But we did get beat last year by the same teams.
