Before the cameras focused on the fight, the ESPN announcers said that Memphis players went over to BYU's sideline celebrating and taunting them. The cameras didn't catch everything.

Yes. I thought I overheard the announcers say that mu taunted and then threw first punch. You can't take memphis anywhere. Instead of this being a star in their history, it's gonna be a black eye. ( literally and figuratively). Now they won't even be able to celebrate it properly. Hc will have to meet with ad to determine the punishments. They will have to wait for the NCAA to come back and name who will not play the first few games of next season. Such a waste of a golden moment.

The Elders at BYU will probably throw down some severe punishments to those BYU players involved

Those BYU players who embarrassed the University with that brawl will be suspended for the first part of the season probably.

Tiger high with some fight. Wow! Would be fun to play them in Nashville next season. Oh well... Nice win for Memphis!

You say that as if the memphis players were eating cookies and drinking milk. They will be suspended for part of the season as well.

I know they will,i was just talking about the BYU side of it. There weren't any saints in this tawdry episode:disappointed:
