'19 CA ATH/WR Horace "Bru" McCoy (Tennessee commit)

Lmao the sunshine pumpers absolutely jump down your throat on here the moment you casually mention anything you’d like to see as a fan. (This is a discussion board, correct?)

It seems like our offensive recruiting is on fire… just wish we’d see some of the same traction with D recruits as well. All we’re hearing about is WRs 😂
AP listed several defensive players he's expecting to jump in but every kid has their own timetable.

Period

No matter the offense, getting open and catching the ball is the main/only factor.

I'm going to add making a defender miss. Lots of Heupel's stuff seems to rely on getting the ball to a receiver and his ability to beat the first tackler. Granted, getting open and catching are prerequisites to that.

High school teammates with Bryce Young. Could add an interesting layer to that game.

In high school he wore 5. At USC 4. He couldn't have either of those. I would roll out the red carpet and offer him #1.

The vibes are immaculate.

USC transfer Bru McCoy will come to town on Sunday and be here thru Tuesday. He will have the chance to see the Vols practice on Monday. His name already exists in the student directory and if all goes well this weekend, we believe the chances of him ending up at Tennessee will be extremely strong. He technically will have three year left but we don’t expect him to spend that much time here if he picks Tennessee.

Yeah if he has any sort of decent season (i.e. 700+ yards, 6 TDs or more) I expect him to bolt for the 2023 draft. He wants to showcase some skills and get to the NFL in the fastest way possible. Hopefully, he gives us two 1,000 yard receivers and both him and Tillman go 1st round next year.

Really need this guy. Have to find a way to replace the production left behind by Velus and Payton, Velus especially. I don't know that we have anyone on roster currently that's ready to step in and immediately produce like they did last year.

Hyatt easily has the skill and speed I don’t like that he is still in the slot I wish he could have Payton’s told exactly and leave the slot to Calloway and squirrel…

It's crazy that a 2019 recruit still has 3 years of eligibility left.

He's only gone if he's 1st-2nd round per biggins
