'19 CA ATH/WR Horace "Bru" McCoy (Tennessee commit)

they paid Nico 8mil that’s the only reason he’s here don’t get it confused
I think it is freaking hilarious that there are people who scream do anything it takes to get these kids here, then when we do what it takes, they criticize and claim that the only reason is that so and so did not want them or that the only reason is $$. LMAO.

I say do anything to get them and I don't care if they came for the money. 'Bout time we got into that game. Bama and Georgia been outbidding us for years.

I agree...when UGA and BAMA give kids McDonald's bags if cash they choose them cause they want to be there. Now that we offered NIL money kids only come here for the money.

Laughable. Trolls being Trolls!!

GBO!

TENNESSEE TRENDING WITH TRANSFER WR TARGET

As the Vols prepare to host two of their top wide-receiver targets in the 2023 class this weekend, they already appear to be in good shape with one of their top targets in the NCAA transfer portal. USC wide receiver Bru McCoy traveled to Tennessee last week on his first official visit, and sources close to his recruitment have continued to indicate that the Vols are in good shape with the former five-star prospect following his trip to Knoxville, which allowed him to spend time with former USC teammates Velus Jones Jr. and Chase McGrath, among others.

McCoy currently isn’t expected to make a decision right away. It’s not out of the question that he could announce a commitment before the end of April, but sources said his current plan is to wait until he’s finished with his spring-semester classes at USC. Regardless of the timing, though, all signs point to the Vols being the team coming off his official visit to Knoxville.

There’s worse out there. Some folks still think Tennessee doesent need to be involved or be completely clean in recruiting.

I’m glad Tennessee got on the train and is a leader in the new era of college football.

It’s funny that the teams that were cheating well before this are all whining and complaining about how teams aren’t being fair (yes I’m looking at you aTm, Bama, and UGA).

Exactly, Nico wanted to come, sure the NIL helped, but his family LOVES UT, Heup, Hazle, and Knoxville.

And $8 million of hillbilly bucks. To think Tennessee is the only school willing to pay that for a player like Nico is crazy. Manning will get $10+ million from a school if he needs it. They have the means to do their own deals.

No offense but he is a transfer. He doesn't need a moment. He needs to get to work like a man.
Guess he's trying to have his Lebron taking my talents to South Beach moment but agreed he's a transfer, one that hasn't even played a ton.
Still will be glad to take him though
