That wasn't what Callahan actually said. He merely said he didn't send it in before the announcement. I just think he means a lot is happening post-announcement and faxing paperwork may not be his first priority. Media, family, classes, other things happening.

I want to make a brief comment. All these media guys are fed their information from two sources typically... our coaches and their media counterparts at the other schools. This creates a very interesting dynamic. I will tell you that there are many times when our coaches will mislead these media guys with specific comments so that the true dynamics of what is actually going on is not leaked to these counterparts and also to keep them in the know to some degree but only give them as little as possible.

We are right in the thick of it with this recruitment. Bama has made their “pitch” and we are coming in today to make our offer. There is a lot at play as you can imagine with the family wanting to move and I will leave it at that but we are ready. Do not discredit KS, BN, and JP in this one.

not to split hairs, but not many schools actually still use fax machines. mostly done using scan apps on phones now.

Whatever the process is, is it really that hard to believe that someone who didn't know where they were going up until a few hours before their announcement would possibly have another change of heart after they made their decision

To'oto’o is regarded as one of the best defensive players the DLS program has ever produced. He’s basically without a weakness on the football field. He has a great frame, is physically tough, smart, loves to hit, can run, has both short area quickness and long speed, plays with a non-stop motor, is a natural leader and has a great off the field work ethic. He even played some running back over the last couple of years and showed off his athleticism and burst on that side of the ball but his future is definitely on defense. He’s not just physically gifted, he’s a smart, high IQ football player with great instincts and is very coachable.

Subtle passive-aggressive condescension is really hard for a lot of people to pick up on..I have to give TW credit for doing it really well, but it blows my mind how he fools so many folks..
