As someone who has been a fundraiser, that’s some real money in a short amount of time. Especially when you’ve tapped your donors already to build the collective.

Cain had him on a crossover episode prior to our game last year and I found him to be an insufferable homer and incredibly obnoxious. He may be being one in this instance. But he seemed sure of himself here.

Rashada ain’t driving his own bus unfortunately for him. There absolutely is an NIL hang up and UF has till Friday to get it in order.

The exact details from there are debatable. From people I’ve read they feel it to be less than 50% at this point he ends up at UF. As a TN fan I think no matter what this is a good thing. Their NIL perception has taken a hit and even if he enrolls the likelihood that works out as a marriage longterm is very low IMO.

Exactly. His father said they haven’t asked for a release. That’s a pretty specific denial and it doesn’t mean the rest of it isn’t true. Now that the Orlando Sentinal is also reporting it, it seems pretty certain that things have gone sideways with the NIL deal.

Even if the kid ends up at Florida, I don’t see this ending well for them. Probably in the portal this time next year.

This is going to be interesting to follow. I mean, what reason does he use for wanting out of his LOI? The school is forbidden from offering NIL so he can't use the "They didn't follow through on money I was promised. " How does the NCAA view this?
