Austin is with his family on a spring break trip. He didn't go to California to see Nico. Nico has not given a timetable. He's playing in a 7 on 7 tournament this weekend and his plan for a while has been to see his other finalists this spring.

Who know what the future holds? This wasn't a, "He's leaning towards UT." This was a, "UT is getting Nico."

Chris arrived in Austin first day in a limo. That and his insistence on wearing #1 got him off to a bad start. Major Applewhite already being a popular near folk hero and Mack Brown force feeding the starting job to Simms his sophomore season (honoring recruiting promises?) set him up to never winning over the majority of Longhorns faithful.
