Once Nico is in the boat officially then defensive recruits will follow. Talent wants to play with talent on both sides of the football. We are in on some really big defensive recruits. In my opinion we just need one monster to pop and then I see the flood gates opening. All the top recruits are usually pretty active with each other on social media. At least that is my feeling.

Recruiting crutniks hv always said “follow the visits”. Nolan took “87.5” trips to A&M. Anyone with eyes knew he wasn’t coming here. Nico’s 3rd cross country trip to Knoxville is coming up soon.

People comparing this to past recruitments have missed about 80% of what we're basing it off of. This isn't 1 CB and a few tweets and hope.

This is every single CB, every single tweet for weeks, 3rd visit upcoming, $8mm deal, L.A. lawyers confirming it, a Callahan lock, every other fanbase conceding the point (and not a one of their mods denying it), MetalVol, Bob, Ap, ...I'm running out of breath.

Some of y'all would need to see the morning sun peaking out to believe it would rise again that day.

I agree, it all SEEMS to be pointing to Nico and UT, but what legitimate lawyer goes on a message board and spews that information? We've seen our fair share of "insiders" and I'm sure every board has them.

The $8mm deal could be a number of top rated qbs.

Other fanbases don't know anything more than ours. Likewise with their mods.

CBs never matter... Until they are favoring UT.

We see this buildup every year, everyone gets excited about a certain recruit or coach. The rumor mill heats up, everyone is looking for anything and everything to be a sign. A number of people convince others, then the truth comes out and we're all bummed.

I hope I'm wrong, but right now, everything is just speculation, coincidences, and wishful thinking.

Maybe he released a top five today just to try and build a little doubt so if he announces this week maybe he recaptured some of the element of surprise that was lost by attorneys and family. I do not think it is fooling anyone but maybe that’s his thought on it. Also possible he wanted to throw out there one more time what his top 5 is because he knows the insane magnitude of the shock and awe of him picking us over those guys. Maybe his version of hats on a table. Yeah all these teams wanted me BUT I am gonna be ridin orange.

He may end up here and he may do like the others and disappoint the ones that “see the signs”.
