‘23 CA QB Nicholaus Iamaleava (Tennessee)

Biggest recruit we’ve had pledged since.. man idk, since I been really following the Vols. I’m that young generation that just started following UT during LF, Dooley and Jones years. This excites me

Since Peyton and I don’t think it’s close. Especially since the game has changed offensively. Eric Berry, Trey Smith and others were absolute beasts but they didn’t play QB

TOA (His 7v7 team) won the Pylon 7v7 National Championship today
He’s gonna be the player to bring UT back to national relevance and probably go down as one of the greatest players and ambassadors of Vols football in UT history. I can feel it in my plums. If we get the horses around him, the sky is the limit.

He doesn't care about football tho. He just wants to hand homeless people water bottles and wear pajamas to 7v7 tournaments

I go back and forth on which one was bigger, which one had more impact...while Peyton was an absolute monster to land, Heath Shuler was every bit as massive and impactful, imo.

In the same week, this kid played in the AAU volleyball national championships, and then turned around and led his 7v7 #TOA squad to the Pylon 7v7 national championship title. He skipped a chance to earn individual accolades at the Elite 11 finals to do so. This kid is an unselfish leader and a champion. Get ready for big things in the near future. GBO🍊

All the while Arch does nothing yet is still somehow the #1 QB.

I hope Nico stays positive and keeps his head up. I know he put a lot into Carnell and Francis. Glad he is cut from a different cloth than most recruits.
I know people are thinking we’ve had these battles before but we really haven’t had this many with these elite teams for these elite players. The hard fact is Tennessee is going to lose more of these head to heads than they win until we prove more on the field to go with the money we’re swinging as well. There’s no consolation for being the first loser in a recruiting battle but if you stay in these fights you eventually start winning a few and your roster turns into having a lot more of these difference makers on the team.

That’s a huge statement towards Nico. I hope this is my generations Peyton.
Keep in mind that the roster surrounding Peyton was absolutely loaded with studs. Our roster isn't even remotely close in overall talent level to where it was at any point in the 90's.
