I'm actually good with our QB room despite the lack of experience. I've always been high on HB and I like Salter. If we can get a decent QB coach I think we are fine going into next year. Well I hope so anyway.
Maybe if Maurer doesn't transfer out. If he does, we only have two guys in that position.

I assuming with rules as they are now (no one time transfer pass) that he would be battling against year 3 HB and year 2 Salter? Surely he wouldn’t see that as a viable position to be in-I assume we go Grad transfer route.

Didn’t understand why he wasn’t their starter this year. He showed some ability freshman yr. I suspect he heads to Washington st based on his post about fulfilling a promise to his brother

How did Bald man bring in Bailey?
we had plenty to sell. Talented OL (plus two young 5 stars), Good WR class, and Pruitt didn’t yet have a track record for a trash offense. Muschamp has never fielded an elite offense and SC just doesn’t have a lot of talent so it doesn’t really make sense why good QBs would go there unless they are overrated and not many top programs are actually interested. The more I follow recruiting the more I’m convinced that commitable offers are the only reliable indication of talent. That’s why Bamas OL outperforms ours even though we have comparable talent (minus the one guy they really wanted, Trey). In fact amongst all of our highly rated recruits our best players are guys we beat out Bama for.
