Cade Klubnik already being mentioned for the '23 Heisman?

Albino dude from SCjr looked like a pro bowler vs our sorry secondary…the rest of the season he was straight garbage
Yep.. How you can go from not really stopping a team all game and giving up 63 points to blanking a team the very next game is beyond me. It's like they weren't even trying in the SC game. Shat the bed..

A quick comparison, Klubnik played in 9 games & Milton played in 8 games…

Klubnik : 31 completions on 46 attempts = 67% completions ; 377 yards, 2 TDs, 1 Int

Joe Milton III: 34 completions on 54 attempts = 63% completions; 720 yards, 7 TDs, 0 Int’s

343 more yards for Milton along w/ 5 more TDs…

NICE!!! Although we know Klubnik has the potential, I do agree 100% that him being mentioned as potential Heisman candidate for '23 is way way early. It would be different if he had a breakout season as a freshman starting QB. Even if he played like 30-50% of the offensive snaps and performed well I could understand it. I'm not saying it isn't possible, but the resume just isn't there for him to be in any Heisman talk just yet.

There should be a drinking game where everytime you use quotation marks for no reason at all, someone takes a shot. Your past post are essentially...

Insult
Random thoughts with quotations
Complaint
Insult with a quotation.
Complaint
Insult with extra quotations.
Partial thought insulting those complaining whiling using quotations in quotations smothered with quotations
Misspell douchy several times but put in quotes so nobody notices.

How many times per day you make "air bunnies". When talking out loud?

What I pictured while reading this "analysis"... (*there...take a drink of your de-caffeinated soy-milk Latte made by Sven. your favorite Barista!)

You're not seriously trying to argue that Florida, Alabama and South Carolina's QB's didn't light up our defense like a 30-foot Christmas tree, are you? Florida and South Carolina's QB's would fall under that bad QB designation that I mentioned previously. I don't give a crap what some moronic NFL analyst or scout says about these guys. They have proved that they are poor college QB's. Any idiots projecting future brilliance for these two guys will find unemployment in their futures.
I said nothing about SC at all. I said we managed to win against some pretty good QBs. I named more than two.

How did USCjr go from 0 points vs Fl to exploding vs us? I will never forgive CWM

You want to talk about irrelevant that is what the Heisman Trophy award is these days. It sure doesn’t mean what it used to and is viewed as nothing more than a joke of a award. Too many folks voting that haven’t a clue it true care of picking the truly best player. It truly is a tainted award these days.

Given the time to prepare and the absence of Banks, this all boils down to two things Coaching and LOS play.

I am thinking that Clemson takes this for granted and hopefully our DC (the other Banks) and Staff (R Garner) will come up with the right mix to make a freshman QB hesitate.

Heck of a lot different coming off the bench than starting off at QB.

After he carves our horrible secondary up, people will be saying he is the next coming of Trevor Lawrence.

If he’s so good why didn’t he play sooner? Poor QB play is why Clemson isn’t in the playoffs
He did, in a few games. But was ok , not impressive enough for Dabo to make him a starter.
Then against the Tarheels week defense he looks like a superstar.
Wasn’t much of him on film and doubt they were preparing to play against him.
He’s a talent for sure, but also a freshman and we’ve at least got that 1 game of film to study.

We've played some pretty good QBs this year, so I think we'll be ready. Our Pitt/UF model was pretty good...make them drive the ball down the field and no gash plays. IF Milton can deliver, we should win, I think, because a frosh may make some splash plays, but having to drive consistently down the field AND score TDs could be a different story.

Watching the Oregon/NC bowl game and they put up a graphic showing the early contenders for the '23 Heisman and Klubnik was one of half dozen or so. Based on what exactly? I know he's a 5 star and a true freshman, but this is more than just a tad premature. Maybe they're anticipating a huge coming out party on Friday night against us?

Clemson plays I the ACC. As long as he is average abd Clemson blows through their cupcake schedule he will be considered among the favorites. Remember that the committee doesn't care about strength of schedule or magnitude of wins. They just pick teams with good records and choose their
QB.

Still, he's done next to nothing to warrant being mentioned as a contender. As someone else pointed out, it's much ado about nothing, but it's still silly to place him in such elite company with so little production to go on. At least let him get half or 2/3 thru his soph season with some results as a starter before you start his campaign. As someone else pointed out, Milton has better stats as a backup and his name isn't being bandied about. It just struck a still raw nerve with me like when ESPN decided to push Woodson or anyone other than Peyton for the award and actually made it happen.
