I think his interview was a combination of him getting a win, him loving his university, and a little lobbying for the job.
I get the emotion. At some point he has to level that off. The head guy can’t be too emotional all the time.

Interesting interview.

All the time? You mean in the ONE game he was the head coach? The head coaching position he was given last week? Where every Auburn player played their ass off for him. The one game where tons of his old team mates came to support him? The one game that had a sold out stadium? The one where celebrations lasted for several minutes after the game?
I just don’t get people like you who can’t see the situation, be happy for someone and still have to be negative.

Gives an interesting interview.

He is wearing his emotions on his sleeve and he is acting like I'd expect any former player who was fan favorite in their playing days would act if they got the interim job after a coach firing.

He will most definitely have a job on staff for the next coach if he wants it. I hate the barn but it is very awesome seeing him being forced into the job and having two good showings so far. They should have won that game last week in Starkville.

If I’m “interviewing” for a job that is one way to do it. Not my style. And I’m sure there are plenty of Auburn folks that share in that opinion. Nothing wrong with having a different opinion.
If he is a family member of yours tell him congratulations.

No. It’s not that. I liked him as a player. He isn’t getting the Auburn job. We all know it. So he is going to have fun. The fan base is doing the same. He loves the University.
If Pruitt was fired mid season and Tee was given the interim job, we would all go crazy and Tee would have had fun. The players would have had fun. It’s not a permanent solution but for a team that is having an awful season, they are having fun and playing hard again. Even the fans showed up and sold the game out.

Ok now I feel like toilet papering a tree. Go Tigers. Or War Eagle. Whichever one is appropriate.

Next HC should make sure his first visit is to Cadillac. Hes not HC material yet but will be invaluable going forward.
