Cadillac

If auburn doesn’t go after a big hire, get Cadillac. Cheaper, recoup some money, maybe he’ll do ok. They can’t afford to do the most Tennessee thing ever and keep going after these “up and comers”. We got lucky this time with a guy that knows how to get it done. If Auburn makes another Harsin hire, they get what they deserve.

Is it worth saving the money if it's another 3 years of struggling for bowl eligibility?

We need Auburn to be good. They are permanently on UGA's and Bama's schedule, at least until Texas and Oklahoma come on board.

Personally I think Cadillac wouldn't be the answer until you have went to a certain point of your list. If you get to that point I would suggest trying to get Gary Patterson to do a 2 year interim to give Cadillac 2 years under him before you turn him loose. Thats still isn't the way I would try first.

Like Wisconsin who many belive blew Chryst out early to go after Lance Leipold. If Auburn you need to explore that too. He is clearly too good of a coach to just not even vet. Of course you talk to Kiffin too but you better be sure if you go that route. I also think If it gets too desperate you could get PJ Fleck from Minnesota. He would get better athletes to run his system at Auburn and he might welcome the restarting of the coaching clock.
