The reporter hates Cal, and knows he's too classy to pull a Calhoun or Bobby Knight and go crazy on him. Cal answered great..."I've been to the final four before, my players played in the final four". Why dont you guys do a little history and learn about why is was vacated and the reasoning before you cast stones....its not like the man lied repeatedly or asked the kids to stay quiet for his infractions.

Dude, the NCAA vacated the appearances. It's like you're saying the guy was killed by a knife, not a gun. Either way he's dead.

No, you're blaming the wrong guy. Is it Pearls fault if his son goes to Miami and gets a DUI? Uninformed people act like the coach can control everything and everyone. UT, UGA, Fla and UL players get arrested all the time...but whos to blame? Should the coaches all be following them around 24-7? Was it Pearls fault that his players were smoking weed and carrying a gun at 2am?? Pearls more to blame in that situation than a kid cheating on a high school test 500 miles away.

To the original OP, I've heard that Aardvarks make horrible pets, because they are nocturnal and pretty much only eat ants and termites.

Of course, on the plus side, they haven't had to vacate 2 final 4's.

Actually, it does fall on the coach. He is held responsible for his players actions.

What the hell is wrong with you. This thread is about Tournament and regular season games getting made to disappear as though they had never been played. By John Calipari's teams, not Tennessee, Georgia, Florida or Louisville. Pay attention.

Wow, settle down Billy Bob. Its called an example. Cal wasnt found guilty of anything, his players were.

Ok, you didn't notice he left each school right before the charges and vacations took effect? What you're saying is if the bank robber makes it out of town before the posse shows up then he's innocent of any wrong doing? Keep thinking that until he slips out of Lexington under cover of darkness.

Yeah, John left UMASS because of allegations so severe the 'AA didn't even put them on probation. It had nothing to do with the Nets making him an offer that paid him more than Phil Jackson.

On a side note, I love how Bobby Knight wants to be buried in Kentucky now so that he can be as far away from basketball as possible.

Coach Calipari left two programs in NCAA turmoil but remains unscathed and even still successful because he insulates himself by means of plausible deniability.

See learning new terms and words can be fun. UK fans please have someone read this to you because, if history repeats itself, it may be very relevant to your program,because to be honest, i see a pattern,do you?
