God, what a crapfest. We were off the whole game.
I was blogging the whole game and just felt the team wasn't playing on all cylinders. Rushing game was off early, defense as a whole played well for about 17 minutes (linebackers were good though), Longshore was overthrowing Desean through the 3rd quarter, and those last two TDs by CSU nearly gave me a heart attack. But a win's a win. Three big turnovers by the Rams made the difference.
To be fair, I think the hype of last week's game took the wind out of our sails. Playing a big game that early in the season just really left us gassed and underwhelmed. I think it was the same for you last year, when you won handily and then then nearly laid an egg against Air Force. But hopefully we learn from this one.
