Cal...VS...Tenn

A more accurate key to this game is Cal's front 7 on Defense against a thin inexpierenced Tennessee O-Line.

If Tennessee protects and opens holes, our backs will make plays and whoever is at QB will get the ball to very athletic receivers.

If Cal's front seven camps out behind Tennessee's line, it will be a long night.

Honestly, to win this one, I think we're going to have to score more points than Cal.

Just no simple, dumb little mistakes. It is amazing to me how once you start down that road how it seems to snowball.

Im tired of hearing about CAL brag oh Marshawn Lynch this and that. Last time i checked we had a pretty good Soph. RB Arian Foster. I don't know if you noticed but from when i seen Foster last year he was pretty dang good. Last year he looked a little out of shape. This year the kid is ripped and looks like a great back, his work ethic is great as told by every coach. We also have to back-ups (Hardesty & Coker) each with that homerun hitting type speed. If our OL blocks well our running game will shine. With the running game shining that will get Meachem and Swain ---one on one with CAL DB.. i love our chances ONE - on - ONE aginst anyone's DB's. Plus with Harrell and McBride chasing and in-experienced CAL QB, you know he is going to make mistakes. 35-21 VOLS ....GO VOLS

Yeah Foster is going to be good, but Lynch already has a good resume. Why not tout him, too, ya know?

GIT-R-DUN.... Man, ive never been so anxious for football in a while. One thing thats got me hyped, is that i hate the PAC-10 with a PASSION. We have the opportunity to go out and embarress a PAC-10 team. I can't stand PAC10 fans, why? They brag about the PAC10, when the PAC10 is the weakest CONFERENCE in ftball... i mean come on when USC when the division the past 30 years, what does that tell you? LACK OF TALENT AND COMPETITION = CREAM PUFF LEAGUE......PAC10 tries to rag the SEC, come on LETS COMPARE
SEC: UT,UF,UGA,LSU,BAMA,USC,Auburn
PAC10: USC, CAL, UCLA, Oregon .....LOL i mean come on SEC dominates PAC10 football.. and TENNESSEE needs to step up and show them what the SEC is all about.

Dudes good. I give him credit. But I think we will eat him alive infront of 107,000 live and MILLIONS on TV. His new name will be Marshawn LUNCH!

Play Tennessee Football. No mistakes in the kicking game. No peneltys. No turnovers. Good Defense.

I know that doesn't sound like Tennessee Football lately. But it's a new year!!!

104,079 was the capacity before, and I think they are down around 102,000 so that means that there is still a possibility of 107,000.

The Florida game two years ago had 109,000 so 107,000 is probably possible, although won't be the average.

"Brilliant deduction my dear Watson"

Over my 61+ years, I have often found it very difficult to win a game in which the opponent out scores you.

Also, UT must have a good kicking game.

I agree... Wilhoit's struggles seem to be getting overlooked. I understand that he had some sort of nagging injury, anyone know how that's doing now? That'd be just wonderful to have all the other things we're worrying about go well and then have the game come down to a missed PAT or FG... :vava:

i think the SEC is the best league as well; but this Cal team is not going to be a cream puff team. they have some real studs on both sides of the ball!!!

GO VOLS!!!

I actually am MORE worried about Forsett than Lynch. Forsett is a Barry Sanders type back (and no, nobody has said he is the NEXT Barry Sanders). He's shifty and fast, and coming in behind Lynch is more of a problem than Lynch himself.

UT averaged a little above 107,000 fans last season.

If Ainge can man up and take the hits without being flustered and can humble himself to throw a few away into the stands when no one is open, we should be good to go.

I don't like our recievers one on one with any db until they start catching the ball.
