Why would he do that? He's already brought in 2 5* and a 4* that you would have to think are better than a walk-on, but those guys are still on the bench and Stetson is still playing.
I don't think Georgia's looking for a transfer QB right now, but that could change depending on how many are expected to transfer out.
As for Stetson playing, it's always the same process everywhere; coaches play the guy who earns the job. Coach Heupel ended up starting the lowest rated QB on UT's roster this season, because when games are on the line coaches play the guy who is available to play and has earned the job.
Neither of UGA's two underclassmen were ready to start, just like Justin Fields wasn't ready to start in 2018. JT Daniels would have most likely won the job, but he apparently held himself out for the majority of the season. I don't know the details about that, but Stetson was available, played well, improved, and at some point his performance and experience with this year's team outweighed Daniels' likely trajectory with only a few games left.
