Calhoun's has had concessions in Neyland for at least 3-4 years, maybe longer.

BBQ nachos is always a solid option

Since 2013 apparently.

I don't recall seeing it in 2015 (the last time I was in Neyland other than this years spring game).

Me and the wife had a Calhoun's pulled bbq sandwich at the Appy St game last year. Was dry as a bone and like 7 or 8 bucks.

Maybe I knew about this and forgot. I don't typically eat at the games anyway, well, apart from hotdogs of course. :)

buddy's > calhouns

Put a Buddy's in Neyland so the fans can get a taste of real east TN bbq.

Not a fan of buddy's at all

Too vinagary(sp?) for this native memphian

(Though somebody once told me that buddy (Or whoever makes it) was from Memphis, But not sure if that's true)

I remember multiple times getting Buddy's from Smokey's in the UC and every time I thought...why'd I do this again?

Vinegary? Buddies?
They use a sweet sauce. I've had Carolina style a d wouldn't describe buddies as this at all. Very traditional. Calhoun's beans are the best.

They've been in Neyland for several years at least. The beer cheese(which is the best in town) you can buy for the pretzels is also from Calhoun's.

I'm comparing the Maryville Calhouns to the Maryville Buddy's. Chain bbq joints can vary quite a bit. The Buddy's in Maryville is consistently good and the Calhoun's is consistently bad.

After three straight orders of ribs that were severely overcooked from Calhoun's, I'm sticking with Buddy's or Full Service.

Calhoun's (like most restaurants) is only as good as the management running it.

Bearden Hill is consistently good.

Another thing about Calhoun's - IMO the BBQ isn't even the best thing on the menu.

Burgers are great
Smoky Mountain beans are killer
Chicken tenders tossed in Thunder Road sauce are awesome
Both Fish n chips and Catfish are good
Ale steak and ale porkchop are both tasty
