Well I certainly wouldn't - especially if you make as big of an ass of yourself as Cal did in this situation to get thrown out. His team was dominating and still getting all the calls when it happened.
Did the player go to the hospital from the court? If not how do you know he "almost" got paralyzed? The score had nothing to do with the argument. Were you watching the game? The play he was upset about almost had a player paralyzed and the ref didnt blow the whistle for either side. Making an ass out of yourself is when you embarrass the team, or program. The fans actually sided with him...and Rupp isnt the easiest to win over.
Who's upset? I thought we were talking about basketball. Cal is the basketball coach, right?I've watched enough football to know that when your head or back gets twisted in the wrong direction, becoming a paraplegic is certainly a fear. No reason to get upset at my post. If the same thing happened at UT...the crowd would have backed the coach for getting upset, too.

Wow, that's so ignorant - and terrible comparison by the way.
Ignorant? Do you honestly believe a coach is responsible for everything a recruit does? How can a coach be held accountable when the recruit is 800 miles away in high school? You cant hold his hand everyday. Kids break rules, coaches break rules. The NCAA determines who is guilty and has a very heavy hand when dishing out sanctions. Cal was found completely unassociated with any breaking of the rules.
Whats wrong with the comparison? Pearl had players do much worse (caught with drugs & weapons) in the same town, but he wasnt to blame. But Cal has a recruit, thats not even on the team, cheat on a test in high school halfway across the country and people want him expelled from college. Cal is hated throughout the country, so he's going to have it worse.
Well, considering Rose was in Chicago taking his SAT and Cal was in Memphis in the middle of the season...no, I dont expect Rose would travel with a private investigator. Is Pearl guilty of having a player caught with a gun and weed?
Wow....You pick the Rose situation as your defense???
Calimari KNEW what Rose had accomplished as far as academics were concerned....
Calimari KNEW what his previous scores had been.....
Calimari KNEW to get him as far away as possible when taking the test....
And Calimari KNEW the score he achieved in Chicago was totally unrealistic....
The Rose situation was probably the most obvious incident and the most blatant because it is the hardest, factually, to prove..But to say Calimari "didn't know"??? C'mon man...Let's just hope "Judge" is only your nickname...........
Exactly - there wasn't enough proof to link him - he's a good cheater.
