Tennessee was a tourney team when Kentucky beat Tennessee awhile back. Everyone said coaches talk...id like to think the guy might know a thing or two about basketball and knows his stuff :)

This has been a fun run to watch!

I think I speak for many when I say....(in the nicest way possible)...

....We do NOT care what John Calipari said then, now or anytime in the future. And if I aint speaking for enough people than I'm speaking loudly enough myself that you'd think it was for enough people.

Calipari is using the "the team we beat is great" angle in attempt to make his team look better. He might be right, but as said before ... just coach talk.

Funniest thing I've heard about Calipari lately was while watching a game and the commentators said he should get coy for what he's done with his freshmen.

I laugh at all the people claiming him for COY. He is doing what was expected of him and his team, to me that's not what COY is.

Another bit, he's never won one before including the first UK team that went like 34-2. I'm sure committee doesn't like him very much and would frown upon someone as slimy as he is winning. After all, what would they do in the future make him vacate it?

Who cares if there is already a thread about this, I think the Admins will move it the right place. I do believe that is their jobs not ours....

not sure he needs to use this tactic when he has at least 4-5 guys that will be 1st round picks on the roster and has only lost 1 game on a last second shot

but it does kinda sound like coachspeak

I welcome any and all threads. This thread is no worse than the 2486 threads talking about the possibility of a NCAA berth. If it's something that doesn't interest you than move on.
