Did you see UK's televised practice yesterday? Harrow outplayed Teague big time. Actually, he played quite amazingly. Since you know so much more about UK basketball than I do, were you surprised at Harrows quickness and shooting ability? :pepper:

I wouldn't normally respond to you, but in this case I'm going to make an exception because I don't want bleeding to think I in any way side with you.

It doesn't matter to me how much he posts or where he does it from. I was just making the point that the OP doesn't do it very often, so he should cut him some slack.

You've got no room to talk about any poster. You're a UK fan who spends a large amount of time on a UT board (when you're team is good). As I said before, I know your type. Sometimes I catch myself even feeling a little sorry for you.

You should leave. Quick. In a hurry. As a poster, you're worthless. You offer absolutely nothing to this board. Everything you post is a waste of binary.

And for the record, most people on this board didn't waste their time watching Kentucky doing layup drills on TV. Personally, I'd have rather watched reruns of 90210.

UK is awful at football, would you feel more comfortable discussing it, considering you feel so strongly that I'm only here for basketball?

No reason to feel bad for me. I debate certain subjects, then when I prove someone wrong I get the "troll" card called on me. Its kind of entertaining. Reminds me of when a minority cant get a job they always have the racist card for back up.

We had a good debate going for a few days, BleedingUT was telling me Teague was better than Harrow (UK's future PG), even thought he's a UT fan and hates UK I find it comical that he all of a sudden knows more about my team than I do. Anyways, back to talking UT.. have a delightful day. :hi:

DC you're good, at no point would i consider anyone on this board siding with judge. not even the uk fans on this board side with him.

i have never known the feeling to be disliked by everyone of thousands of people, but it cant be a good one

I appreciate the fact that you don't spend your time posting responses as the ones I see constantly on the site. The is a message board open for discussions.

There is one thing about this site that makes me not visit as much as before is our fan base is so split, and spending time talking smack to each other then any fan base I have seen. Regardless of this fact I am still a life long VOL fan. As I am sure someone will reply to my post here, something along the lines of "well if you don't like it, go be a fan of another team".

I'm sorry I am ranting but I posted in the midst of a great game last night by Tennessee and wasn't going to go digging through threads to find someting I wanted to discuss with fellow VOL fans. If I did find it, who would be discussing it? The one or two people still viewing that thread that's 10 days old?

The vol fan base has become more like republicans vs democrats...pick a side! Haha, nonetheless....go vols!!

Red air...i didnt mean my OP to be insulting or rude towards you which is why i was serious when i was saying i wasnt trying to be an ass. i was just saying it so that if there was another thread that the mods could merge it, and that way it'd be bumped to the top of the list and easily viewable, that is all.

Oh and on the topic of the thread, we all can agree calipari is a clown. I didn't want the thread to seem if I was trying to compliment him too much, cause at the end of the day he plays for the enemy!

agreed. i give him credit for thinking outside the box, but how many teams do you see nationally televising their practices?

i have heard many negative thins on this, many thinking that the ncaa is working feverishly to make sure this never occurs again

it is much like the longhorn network, your showcasing your school in a way other schools arent given the opportunity. would espn be televising a etsu practice? not really fair

ive heard people saying this is almost like an OV for some recruits. they get a behind the scenes look at how practices are ran and what not.

as i said kudos to cal for thinking outside the box as its not a ncaa violation, but expect that rule to change quickly.

It just seems his agenda is the exact opposite. He wants it to be the Calipari show, when it's his players balling out for the W. He is taking the focus away from them IMO.

-no he didnt weve been over this. your too dumb to realize stokes played less minutes in the first meeting if he played more he'd have had higher numbers. in their time on the floor together stokes outplayed him in game 1, plain and simple.

uhm im going by the coach saying he got outplayed by teague, and that it'll be good for him though to go against someone as good as teague.

i'll take cal's opinion over yours sorry

KNOXVILLE — Heralded Tennessee freshman Jarnell Stokes needed only 31 seconds to begin making a good impression in his college debut Saturday. Barely a half-minute after entering the game, he scored over Kentucky's Eloy Vargas on a post-up.

Less than two minutes later, Stokes hit a 15-footer.

"My time is now," Stokes said of his nine-point debut.

"I grew up a Cal fan in Memphis," Stokes said after Kentucky beat Tennessee 65-62. "Cal was the man back then."

Calipari was still the man when Stokes made a recruiting visit to UK.

"He definitely offered me a scholarship," Stokes said of Calipari. "But they didn't have a scholarship on the table because he and I were unaware I was graduating early."

An honors student, Stokes graduated last month from Southwind High School in Memphis. He gained his college eligibility earlier in the week.

"I thought I was ready to come play (for UK)," he said. "I could have come and redshirted."

Stokes said he decided to take the scholarship Tennessee offered and, with it, the chance to play immediately.

"I feel I'm still a kid," he said. "You're asking a kid to sit out a year. I wanted to play for Calipari but I cant sit, I want to play now."

Stokes impressed both sides in his 17-minute stint.

"Makes them a way better team," Calipari said.

Noting how Stokes energized UT and a sellout crowd, UK freshman big man Anthony Davis said, "He's really going to be a key factor for (the Vols)."
