yeah i think that we def need to ass flordia state ( that would weeken flordia) hell WV might not be be bad or VT. i mean its kind of crazy haveing a "southern conference" and not have a virginian team. maybe even adding the university of virginia. i mean that are not great at football but if that joined the sec they could be, and it would help us with our academic stuff...

Slives silence speaks volumes. Other coferences expanding are ways to catch up. The SEC is in good shape and can afford to wait for everything to shake out. IMO there are a lot of back channel conversations occuring.

Notre Dame has more money than you may realize, they are dooing very well as an independant. They get a very easy schedule each year. They get solid TV exposure. Why jump to a conference where you would have to share TV time with other schools all while sharing the money and making your schedule harder? They won't join a conference uneless they had to, and it won't be the SEC.
