Callipari to the Bulls?

I could careless about where LeBron goes, but for Cal I hope he leaves UK tomorrow!! UK basketball was a circus last year. Not one big recruit cared anything about the team just $$ at the next level. With Cal gone IMO it will help SEC basketball as a whole, and UK will be better off without him.

UK big head and Cal big head is a disaster for college bball.

I just want to see the ky fans go into full blow suicide watch if Cal leaves. Then sit back and laugh at them

Every big recruit cares more about the money at the next level they'd be dumb not to. The only way Cal leaving would be good for the SEC is that Kentucky most likely won't be getting these big recruits.

This is going to be a crazy summer in the NBA and possibly at Kentucky.

LeBron trades one drama for another - NBA - Yahoo! Sports

This article is basically stating that LeBron, WWW and Calipari are in bed together and will go to the highest bidder as a package deal.

Most likely scenario is Chicago to play along side of Derrick Rose.

Coach Cal certainly has aligned himself well. And he will get out of Kentucky right before he gets nailed and head to the safety net of the NBA.

Discuss.

This rumor has been out there for awhile. Calipari's agent has been seen talking to Lebron and Lebron's agent has been seen talking to Calipari.

I'm curious of hat's thoughts on Cal and whether he will leave Kentucky like Kiffin, since hat claims to be a friend of Cal.

Would also like to hear MHF's prediction on whether Cal will be at kentucky as coach next year. That should be entertaining

That's my point. Basically current coaches need to forget about one and done kids (which the one and done is ridiculous anyway). Cal at UK is a killer combo and can hand pick those kids... Like 90% of most peeps thought when they hired him... Well there goes everything Pearl has worked for over the past few years. However Pearl did shock me and the recruiting nation with Tobias.

Basically IMO Cal/UK combo will limit our surprises over the years with kids like Tobias. I hope I'm wrong but that's my feelings. :dunno:

Oh ok I thought u were going somewhere else with that. I agree that the one year rule is dumb, but i don't blame the ones that are good enough for leaving.

I don't blame them either, and I think they should be allowed to go straight in if they want. I honestly think the NBA got more hype/PR off of those HS Stars that skipped college. And if they decide the college route then IMO 2 years should be required. I think the "One and Done" hurts both NBA and NCAA.

College coaches can not sell the fact to new recruits that they can play with the next John Walls in the future.

Yeah I agree if they are going to put a limit make it at least 2 years. I think it hurts the NCAA a little more because they stress that athletes are students first, but if you're going pro after a year any way then there isn't much motivation to regularly attend classes unless the person continues his studies while in the league.

Plus after 2 years in college some may make better decisions, and get a degree versus taking a gamble.
