Cam Seldon playing time

Seldon was not at fault for that penalty.
1. Fair catch shouldn’t have been called on the up man who wasn’t near the ball
2. Seldon couldn’t have known that some random guy on the return team called for a “fair catch”

If you want to say that we have extremely talented, more experienced guys ahead of him I will agree, but don’t make him out to be unintelligent for something that wasn’t his fault.
Right.

Also, please know: The major officiating event on that kick return -- overshadowing even the ticky tacky call that they would have never called on Bama -- were the outrageous game-rigging no-calls on the flagrant personal fouls that Bama committed after the whistle blew that play dead.

Of course enforcing the personal foul rule against Bama would have marched the ball right back to where Cam carried it. Or beyond, if more that one of the Bama personal fouls had not been no-called per SEC officating. The pro-Bama officiating endangers the safety of players and needs to stop.

Posted this in another thread already, but it applies here as well. Next year will be Cam's year along with Sampson, but this year there are only so many carries to go around. From CBS Sports.com:

Tennessee has the nation's best running back room

This isn't as impactful as other entries in this column, but it really deserves mentioning. There are other teams that have better individual running backs but no team boasts a better stable than Tennessee.

The Vols flaunted their backfield riches in Saturday's road win against Kentucky, blitzing the SEC's second-best rush defense for 253 yards on the ground. For context, Kentucky hadn't allowed more than 200 yards rushing all season even against the likes of Georgia and Missouri.

For Tennessee, that was its sixth game with at least 200 yards rushing. The Vols have reached that mark in three out of four SEC games. They haven't had less than 100 yards all year. Tennessee has a talented trio -- Jaylen Wright, Jabari Small and Dylan Sampson -- that would probably each start for a lot of teams around the country.

Who thinks Cam gets some reps this next game?

Hes gonna be a baller when his turn comes for sure. Would like to see him get the ball in his hands this week. Dude is electric. He should be in our rotation next season, i think Wright and Small will both be gone. Glad hes a VOL!!

*ignore the clowns. Many arent even actually UT fans...

Oh man it doesn't bother me, hopefully the players never see what a lot the "fans" post about them when they dont play Perfect or how they think should play.
It’s not just our fan base, every base has some that you just can’t take seriously.Overall the UT fan base is great but there are always some bad apples. Players are taught to ignore the outside or at least not take it to heart because most of the bad talk is garbage anyway. Them types try to feel important behind a keyboard throwing insults aren’t worth the energy. GBO
