Did he purposely miss that wide open lay up on the end-bound play? Talk about being in a rut. He must be cursed. I've never seen a player with his abilities tank so bad.

Starting line-up vs. Florida and the rest of the year should be,

Goins
Bone
Hopson
Harris
Fields

Oh, just in case you're curious, I don't think he's the worst player on the team, that goes to Trey Golden. If he throws another pass in transition to an "open" S. Pearl one more time I’m gonna throw up.... :jpshakehead:

This is about the 4th game in a row where I've noticed him just tossing the ball up (in a layup type scenario) and hope for the best. The last shot he took tonight, he seemed to concentrate on the outcome. Surely he's seeing this on tape. I think he's just a head case right now. He and Brian have to have an impact for us to have any chance for another win this season.

Why does everyone hate on S Pearl? If you know basketball you know he is not a scorer. If everyone hustled like he does this team would be fine. You wont see Scotty dive after a loose ball.

Golden at least drives inside and attempts to do something on occasion. Tatum sucks on both ends of the court.

We can win without Cam Tatum. But we're going to need Goins, Hopson, Harris, and BWill to come hard every night.

Woolridge > Tatum

Tatum may have something going on that hasn't been released.

That is less hate and more of an acknowledgment that Pearl is not a scorer. He is left open for a reason.

Hude diff between Tatuim and Golden, hasn't Tatum been here 4 years? Redshirt JR? Golden is true freshman, he can get better, Tatum has higher expectations at this point

You don't have to know bball to know Pearl isn't a scorer. Just sayin

yet golden avg. 35 a game in HS..... how the hell do you lose 35/game confidence... Tatum same thing... all time HS leader at his ATL HS.... no confidence.... these guys play so tenative.... just go hard and dont second guess it.... they are better than they show up for...seriously... they can be dynamite if they just forget the ? marks and go hard!

Know what you mean but I don't see Tatum lacking confidence, takes shots and drives, just isn't good. May be too confident imo.

Tatum is absolutely lacking confidence. Numerous times in that game Tatum turned down an open shot and made it more difficult by driving in and taking a tough 2. That's a sign he has no confidence in his outside shot. The aggressiveness in the second half was obviously at Pearl's instruction to try to get him going.

i feel like if he can find himself sometime soon, this team becomes EXTREMELY dangerous going into the tournament.

A one-eyed B-Dub deserves the spot if for no other reason than the 3 pt shot.

FWIW I think Cam shouldn't log ANY minutes the rest of the season, save for mop up time(if we have at the end of a game).
