Well some folks seem to think Nico can win in the swamp as a freshman so they want to play him. If that is the case, then I'm thinking we win in 2025 easily.

It’s difficult for a freshman QB to have success against a rival, esp @ the Swamp. Heup will stay with Joe unless we are behind two scores mid 3rd qtr and Joe can’t move the ball. I don’t see Nico having much success during a prime time game in the Swamp, but I’m not a coach. 😆.

While I’m concerned that Joe will struggle Vs FL, he gives us the best chance at this point of the season. Hopefully it’s a moot point and Joe played well, but I think the offense will struggle.

I HOPE I AM WRONG!

I don't care if the offense struggles as long as we win.
I don't care if there are ZERO passing yards as long as we win.
I don't care if we run on every play as long as we win.
I don't care if we have to score defensively, as long as we win.
I don't care if we use screen passes to get 5 yards per play, as long as we win.

This is a different team. This is not last years team. This team will create their own identity. Let them.

Some of you want this team to be like last year's team or like other teams you are watching. I don't know how some of you survived 1998.

I agree, just find a win. But I think some underestimate the home field advantage @ the Swamp. It’s a night game so the crowd will be loud. I just think Joe will have to play a good game for us to win.

As long as Joe keeps making the right reads and takes care of the ball, I think we will be fine in this one. Our defense is good enough to keep Florida below 20, and our running game on offense should be good enough to get us above 20.

I absolutely think he can get it done. I’d like to see him take off running a little more though.

No we won’t.
The University is all in on Milton. His picture is up everywhere. There’s a ton of hype behind him and he’s the undisputed team leader. He’s the starter unless he gets hurt.
Plus Nico is hurt so it’s definitely Milton all the way. I’m good with it as well. I think Milton will get it done and we beat them by 20 points

I think we see a different team this weekend.... HOWEVER, we all need to come to the realization that this is not last years team, as much as we want it to look the same

Damn near 80% of y'all thinks he can get it done??

WOW.

Why???
Because he has damn near 70 percent completion percentage with 7 total TD's and 0 turnovers? And we haven't even opened the offense up yet?

The "he sucks" crowd are judging him off a few bad series in what was a weird game from the start.

In short, most people aren't delusional and have a little patience.

2 colleges have been more than patient with him. Honestly...

That doesn't mean he can't get it done.

We weren't having these conversations with Hendon Hooker. That's all anyone has to think about, really.

Joe will prevail. I think we should be run heavy though with play action. Throw some of Josh’s favorite comeback routes. Go deep every now and then. But run the dang ball.
Exactly, if u don’t threaten the pass, there will be no run game against sec competition.

It’s a team game. To place success or failure on one player is unfair….and extremely naive. If Florida can’t score, they can’t win.

I personally agree he can get it done. However after watching Clemson that orange bowl win comes less and less impressive.

You don’t realize Clemson lost a couple draft picks off the defense that night? Clemson lost cause their offense is beating them, not their defense.
