I have no idea how they could stay ahead of Ohio State. Each would have two losses. Penn State lost at home to Ohio State. Ohio State will have two wins over teams that are in the playoff, Penn State no wins over teams in the playoff.I mean I think they both suck. I would be fine with them both dropping out but it won’t happen.
Unless they lose big

Manuel said last week that that was the reason Tennessee was behind Ohio State with the same number of losses. He said Ohio State had two wins over Playoff teams to our one. Frankly, under his reasoning, we should be ahead of Texas and Penn State. But their criteria changes for certain teams.
The biggest steamer in the punch bowl is Notre Dame getting such a high seed while playing a G5 schedule. They filled their schedule with city colleges, directional schools, service academies and a couple of P2 schools, the best of whom went 8-4.
I agree with all of thisWhen the bracket comes out tomorrow, mark it down:
1. SMU will be completely out, Bama stays in
2. PSU will drop to 8, and we'll be playing them in Happy Valley
3. ND and OSU will move up a spot,
4. Texas will be in there somewhere in front of us too.
Would almost bet money on this.
This all. Of course If the current scores hold.
