I know that the vols can pass the ball, but word is that they just dont have a running game. Is that true? I was watching some SEC preseason show and it had Cut. on there talking about making a statement. I believe he was aiming that at the O line. Im not sure if they got that. I have to say after watching that show I do like the way the man talks.......very positive. I think for USC some keys will be can we protect the QB? Can we put preasure on your QB? and can we run the football our self. Does UT have a plan for Rice? Id like to hear. Go Cocks::yahoo: ::yahoo:

do we have a running game? yes. can you protect your qb? we'll get some sacks. can you get pressure on ainge? probably, but he's been able to escape the pressure a lot more than i ever expected this year. can you run on our D? ask darby. do we have a plan for rice? No, of course not. Chavis doesn't plan for offensive weapons.. he just lets 'em go off.... geesh, what a stupid question. of course chavis is gonna have a plan

yes that is true, Rice hasnt been burning it up this year due to a lot of double coverage. however Kenny Mckinley has been as good as ever.....remember him? He hurt you last year.....Are there any new DBs on your side this year?

I look for us to use a lot of zone blitz this week. Can Ainge find the right guy quick enough? Can he get away from the preasure? S. Newton can. I think that youll have some respect for Syvelle after this game wether we win or not.

Do you really think you can win out with your schedule, starting with the vols?

If you knew anything about our offense you would know most of our big gainers occur when the other teams blitz. So good luck with that.

It doesn't matter if we have a run game. The South Carolina run defense is awful. Terrible. Rancid. It sucks. We'll run well when we want to run. Your run defense hasn't been able to stop a competent run game all season, and ours is better than competent.

As for Sidney Rice .... he's good. And athletic. He has 17 catches in SEC play (7 against Vanderbilt). I think the SEC secondaries have done a good job shutting him down.

WE have better overall recievers than SC. Sounds like he is putting all the hope of winning with one guy.

Only if I'm allowed to shove it in your throat so you'll finally shut up. By the way, I've been meaning to ask you ... how did you feel after this game in 2004?

Only two teams have "shut-down" the UTK running attack and both were playing 8 men in the box. UTK is not a dominant running team, but they are solid. And, solid is plenty good enough to run the ball against the SEC's second WORST defense against the run. 2nd worst in a conference that includes Miss State, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt....ouch!

Rice is a very solid reciever, but not a gamebreaker. He doesnt have the speed to be able to win this game by himself. He will most likely have some catches but he will not do too much to effect the outcome of this game. USC will not be able to run at all.

After the 2004 game I really wasnt feeling too well. I knew that we had problems so I was hopeful but im always realistic.

Dont think every Vol is not worried cause we all are, we just feel we have a better team but sometimes the better team does not win. SC is a good team team. We should win if you look at the way we have overcome this year. The Vols will not be overcome with the cocks...

Sorry but the Volunteer Offense are not very good cooks, they will most likely burn your birds.
