Can we go ahead and fire Pearl today

Bruce is the first coach to begin building a PROGRAM. What have we had prior to him? A collection of studs that would show up once a decade (Ernie 'n Bernie, Dale Ellis, etc.) and had big enough shoulders to hang the team on for a few years. Once they were gone, we became a "football school" again.

So, you can scream, gripe, moan, *****, etc., but all the Bruce-bashers better be wary of what they wish for. If we fire Bruce, we may have to interview this guy:

Note that Dr. Eslinger managed to continue the proud tradition that is Beaver basketball, running the consecutive conference losses streak to 245 before eeking out a one point win over Occidental College this year.

Come down from your pious mountain. All coaches cheat. Some do it better than others. Had Pearl owned up to it, we'd get a slap on the wrist, maybe a tad bit more.

I'm still a BP fan! Who will have as much karisma as Bruce and can they keep up the program as well, even though the program fell down this year? This years team under achieved.

I am kind of torn on this. All I know is that the university simply cannot wait until the NCAA rules on the situation. They either need to say he is gone now, or that they are going to stand by him and allow him to serve his punishment from the NCAA and remain the UT coach right now. Waiting will only hurt you'all. This time needs to be spent trying to keep the recruits that you'all currently have whether that be Pearl or another coach. Just because they have signed does not mean much anymore, especially if they only signed a financial aid agreement which many top players do now. In addition, no eligible recruits will consider TENN if they don't know who they coach is going to be next year. Gotta get that done you'all! One way or the other.
