An Oregon witch sounds scary. How are they different from other witches per say?

A regular witch casts a spell on you. An Oregon witch is fine with spells but will also sucker punch you if you get in their face after you have beaten them down...especially if you are a LB from Boise State.

the ones who like the hire are just saying he coached alot of less talented player while at boise state and he had them good enough to beat oregon last year and i believe they also beat oklahoma in a bowl game 3 or 4 years back .so coaching players with alot more talent at tennessee ,he should coach them up to be good enough to play against those teams who run the spread option which have beating us quite alot in past years ,with montey and chavous we stopped them some of the time but gave up way to many 3 and longs,maby wilcox can coach the d and on 3 and 10 do what he did on 1 and 2 downs instead of giving up a big run or a little screen pass that everyone and their grand ma should be able to recognize that when the o line lets 4 linemen shoot freely to qb that a screen is coming,when that happens atleast 2 of the 4 de linemen should emediently fall away from qb and loook for wr or rb near the line of scrimmage

I am behind CDD with this hire, however a lot of people were saying a lot of the same things with Dave Clawson. Just beause he did more with less doesn't mean he can do more with more. This is not the WAC.

I don't think Monte Kiffin was worth a flip last year. He helped get some recruits in for sure but I think that more than a few thousand Vol fans were... well
"underwhelmed" at the defense.

If he could recruit, why wouldn't the annoucement have happened before NSD?

I'm guessing the gamble is on his ability to develop players.

My guess would be Tennessee did not want to try and mess up Boise States recruiting class. I don't think the Wilcox hire would have sealed any big time recruits for the Vols in 2 days.....so they chose to just wait until after the Boise State class was signed. JMO

Hes young, firey and all hes got to do is show them the TCU game and the Oregon game and show them thats how you play defense.

Monte was a terrible recruiter, the only reason kids wanted to come here was because of how good of a coach he is and that hes one of the best ever.

I am loving the young energetic staff across the board. And the diversity it has as well.

I think they will all do very well. We wont see many kids from west of the Mississippi or above the Mason Dixon line but who needs em? The south is where the best players are from and I am loving the fact that Dooley said he plans on focusing on the kids within 5 hours harder than anyone. I expect them to live in GA, AL and the Carolinas.
