Charles Woodson was an elite player from the tome he stepped on campus in Ann Arbor. Vince Young had one good season.

I agree on VY, and Woodson was great. But how does Deion Sanders not make it on the list? I put him over several guys on the list, with Woodson being one of them.

I thought OJ Simpson was a great college player, and also Peyton Manning in my opinion was more deserving than a few on the list.

OJ Simpson's worth as a college player doe not lend itself to speculation. OJ Simpson was a great -- indeed one of the best ever -- college running backs.

Spending two years at a JUCO and killing a couple folks appears to have hurt.

Hey, Vince Young made the top-10 on the basis of one year plus one game; I think Simpson's two juco years compare to Young riding the bench and then, you know, not being there at all.

Woodson should not be on the list. That's just crazy talk. Also, I was sorta surprised not to see names like Archie Manning or Joe Namath.

17, missed glen davis, dick butkus, thorpe, I should have just thought of the post season awards that are given out for the best player at their position, AKA the naguski award, butkus award
