I wonder who these convoy truckers are.
Around 9 % of drivers in the USA are owner operators.
The other drivers would loose their jobs, have their fuel cards canceled, and be subject to grand theft auto arrest rather quickly if joining a "convoy". Puffed up political event made for media attention.
Remember the old Truckers Strikes?
If deliberate road blockage occurs, enforce the legal laws on the books .
The bs will end quickly. Same would happen when peaceful protests morph into riots and looting.
From the office of the President down to city cops there is a tremendous amount of selective enforcement on laws they are sworn to enforce.
Reds vigorously enforce Red laws.
Blues focus on Blue laws.

Trucker Ted joins the People's Convoy in DC: Senator Cruz Rides Shotgun and thanks the COVID mandate protesters for 'standing up for every man, woman and child in America'

U.S. Senator Ted Cruz joined the People's Convoy on Thursday, riding shotgun with protesters around Washington, D.C., and thanking them for 'standing up for every man, woman and child in America.'

The Texas Republican spent the day with the truckers, who have formed an American version of the Canadian Freedom Convoy, protesting federal COVID-19 mandates by blocking traffic around the Capitol.

Video from the protest movement shows Cruz waving to fellow demonstrators as he thanked them for showing up while the truckers let their horns blare.

'Thank you to The People's Convoy for speaking out for freedom,' Cruz said in a statement.

'Petty government tyrants shouldn't force people to make private health care decisions.'

The now nearly 3,000-vehicle-strong People's Convoy traveled from Southern California nearly 2,500 miles to D.C. on an 11-day journey. The group stopped in major U.S. cities and rural towns along they way, holding rallies and meeting with their supporters.

Canadian pastor who was arrested and jailed for holding a prayer service for the trucker’s convoy that protested in Ottawa last month remains incarcerated.

Pastor Artur Pawlowski has been in jail since Feb. 9. He was denied bail on Feb. 19 and is currently being held in solitary confinement at the Calgary Remand Center, his son Nathan Pawlowski told The Epoch Times.

The UK and Canada have become two of the biggest disappointments. Hope they find their way back. Canada may be too far gone where even “misgendering” someone wrt their pronouns is considered a human rights violation and can get you jail time. Wth?
