Canada's Truck Convoy to Protest Mandate

I guess we're also supposed to believe there is a single line of trucks in the whole country and a police station has no need to lie.
If it makes you feel better inside believing there are actually 40,000 trucks, don't let reality get in the way.

The leftist braintrust here on VN:
- thinks the protest is about masks
- thinks the nation of Canada consists of one town
- thinks a small town police department is representative of the whole country
- thinks the truckers are "dangerous" despite being only like "40" trucks in a short line

Someone queue me up a Honk Honkler meme, stat!

That's not a complaint based on their profession. That's what made no sense. And still doesn't. Just seems like a political parade. Meh, whatever.

It’s not a complaint based on their profession? What does that even mean? It’s not a political parade if they refuse to adhere to a ridiculous mandate and supply chains become even more screwed up.

"Up to 40 thousand trucks"

This may be a true report by this police account or it may not. But common sense tells you only so many trucks can fuel up at one truck stop. They would have to scatter out to all be able to get fuel that needs it. So this account probably only seen so many in their town. But the police up there is also carrying the water for the Canadian Castro.

No, no, no. That police department speaks for the whole of Canada.

If there is even one tenth or even one fortieth of that it’s still a huge number and miles long. Now back to your water carrying.
Heck it can take a minute to get around 4 trucks, especially if they are "passing". I cant imagine having to navigate around 40.

Put me down in the nowhere actually close to 40k semis group. But you can still shut down a city, and make a point, with fewer.

I don’t think common sense and reality is allowed to interject here

That comparison is absurd. There's no reason a vaccine mandate in some special way affects trucking.
at least here in the states they are one of the few industries where it is required. Not sure what Canada requires all around, but it sounds like there is a mandate on them.

It may have nothing to do with vaccines at all. Just that there is a mandate. Maybe they dont like vaccines. Does one have to be specifically and specially impacted to have the right to protest? Again I know this is Canada and they dont have our rights.

But your view coming from an American is scary.

Ten trucks, without even getting perpendicular to traffic could shut down most interstate traffic thru Atlanta. 40 could shut down every major road. 100 and you better have a Marta pass or be able to walk. 1000 shuts down the whole region.

And Ottawa is a 1/6th the size of Atlanta.

What
Does
A
Vaccine
Mandate
Have
To
Do
With
Trucking, in particular.....

NOTHING

Should probably tell Trudeau that?

Sigh.

Truckers crossing over and back can spread or catch and spread virus. Makes sense to have them be vaccinated.

It does not make sense to say that being vaccinated is some hindrance specifically to being a trucker. That is utterly illogical.

It literally makes no sense at all unless one of the countries is running at zero cases. You are one stupid mfer.

Read both paragraphs in your post out loud to yourself and see if you can reconcile your own inconsistency on mandates ok?
