Canada's Truck Convoy to Protest Mandate

Why are you so threatened by these truckers

I'm not "threatened" by them. I just find the Fox narrative and celebration of this by so many here to be irritating and monstrously trolling. Its not remotely important, and its just petty and irritating people pretending to be somehow important.

I know who you are but that might be the first time you have explicitly admitted it.

Couldn’t they just have stayed home with their families and had the same effect? Surely everyone would notice that there were no tractor trailers on the road, and no one else would have been impacted by their protest. Just a thought.

I’m sure you can relate 😂

What were your feelz when BLM/Antifa was burning down cities and tearing down statues? Were you equally irritated back then by their actions?

So you just think they’re dumb.
That it’s a stupid/unimportant issue.
And that they should be crushed.

That about sum it up

So does this have anything to do with the protests?

No. Nope. Not at all. What protests?

"The population is fed up. I'm fed up. We're all fed up," he said. "But the reason we resisted [easing restrictions] until today was because there was too much risk."
"Right now, we can take a calculated risk and finally turn the page."

When asked if the recent convoy protest in Quebec City influenced his decision to reopen, Legault said it had not.
"But if they want to take credit and not come back in two weeks, I wouldn't be opposed to that," he said.

There's a simple solution to your problem. quit trolling. Problem solved.

Opinion | Listen to the Canadian Truckers

The protests in Canada will likely be remembered as an inflection point in the response to the pandemic. In the U.S., it took worrisome polls for blue-state governors to finally begin to give way on mask mandates this week; in Canada, where there has been some comparable loosening, it took the truckers putting the issue front and center and emboldening conservative politicians.

Lawbreaking shouldn’t be condoned or tolerated, although relative to some of the mayhem of the Black Lives Matters protests after the killing of George Floyd, blocking streets is relatively mild.
