FWIW Rosanne is not really a conservative. She ran and almost won the Green Party nomination once. Her past political statements lean heavily socialist on healthcare, income inequality, LGBT, so on and so forth. I think her Trump support is based more on nihilism than conservatism. It’s actually quite funny seeing Red America jump to her defense in the same way they suddenly love Kanye.

Literally have seen one person come to her defense and it was some loon in the political forum.

As you told me, do a google search. Check Twitter. It may not be outright defending her words but there is definitely a false equivalency defense that because others say mean things about Trump it somehow excuses her. Trump himself whined as much on Twitter that Bob Iger owes HIM an apology. Rosanne has even tweeted to fans to stop defending her.

For the record I watched the first few episodes and thought it was pretty funny. I was planning to finish the season.

We're just going to have to agree to disagree. I see the deferment tactic of "BUT WHAT ABOUT..." as a form of defending because it's deflecting the focus from what she did to what other people did, just like when a kid gets in trouble and starts pointing out to mom and dad what their sister did.

Yeah. They are pointing out that it’s ok to call the president a nazi f*** over and over and not only keep your job but get hired by ABC just a week before Roseanne gets axed by ABC for making flammatory remarks about a lib.

Have not seen anyone defend her remarks except the one loon and apparently ted nugent.

Totally understand your point VSF. It is valid.

Bummer! Hopefully it gets the movie to properly wrap it up!

The NBC time traveling series Timeless has been cancelled for the second time following its 2nd season. It was originally cancelled last season following its first season but after fan outrage and a reduced cost in production allowed them to bring it back for a 2nd season however it wasn't enough to save it long term and now its gone again.

NBC however is open to the possibility of bringing it back for a 2-hour film to give the show and fans a proper ending.

It's ratings were decent for SyFy but had dropped down to the .4 range per episode. They are likely just going ahead and ending it before it gets any worse. Plus I think the novelty has pretty much worn off and the zombie fad has really died down since it started. It originally was made to cash in on the popularity of The Walking Dead and that show's ratings continue to drop too.

Yeah, it was already known to be the last season of the show before it was officially announced.

Trial and Error canceled after 2 seasons by NBC

“Trial and Error” has officially been canceled this afternoon, after airing two seasons on NBC. The cancellation comes several months after the critical darling wrapped up its second season last August.
