I know this could seem doubtful and surely will get some flaming over this, but I remember back when I was a senior in high school, my basketball team was playing Turner County in GA. It was the Saturday we played LSU in the SEC title game with Ainge.

I told my coach during warm ups (he was a Bama Fan) that I had a strong feeling Bama was on the Verge of a Dyansty.

I'm so excited now because I'm getting that same exact feeling about our Vols. I feel Dormady is gonna be code to a Peyton (of course no will be Peyton) and i dont know if we will wkn the Natty yet, but i feel we will come close. I really hope it comes true!!! GBO!!

I've lost track of how many threads like this have popped up over the past 5 years. Always on the verge of turning things around.

The good news is that statistically, eventually, one of you will be right.

Have any other premonitions that were correct? I mean, just calling bama success shouldn't lead you to think we're on the verge. We need more correct predictions....

eYes I have had a few other predictions come true. I just get feelings based on patterns I've seen. I can't explain them but they typically come true. Won $200 for calling the score for the Giants vs Patriots SB game . I called knowshon being a bust unless he changed his approach. Hoped the Titans had gotten foster when he left here. Ill give you one now, whenever Michael Preston (from the Tenn Titans) gets his shot whether it be in Nashville or somewhere else, he will blow up.

Well then. It's about time.

Barring something Catastrophic, this coaching staff will be the best we've had in a long time, and we will have consistent recruiting and success. 2016 will be a year to remember. My guess is 10-2 and maybe 11-1 the next. 2015 will be ar struggle of course we all know. But I think we will be better than people expect. I honestly can see Worley take the reigns and be Crompton from his senior year. Or better. We just need to hold on one more year

1985

Still remember it well. Was the year that it seemed we had finally turned the corner. We still had some ups and downs after that but it was the start of a pretty good twenty year run.

Gotta wait for that feeling again and everyone will know when it happens.

The biggest thing we have to worry about as far as coaching is someone coming after Thigpen.

That is one of the thins that can lead some catastrophe. I believe butch can get a replacement but u never want to replace the Recruiter of the Year

I'll say this, your enthusiasm is good but there's a culture of losing and giving up that have been here for a while and it's taking some time removing that from the program.

Agreed, but this is Butch's 2nd year. He has weeded out those who don't WANT to win. Has a second class of his guys. There is only two classes left of Dools on the team. 33 plus 20ish are CBJs players.

We saw a UT team that would have folded against UGA, and USCjr and almost beat UGA and did beat USCjr. The "we can't win mentality" is gone. We finished the job against USCjr, which having had so many chances under Dools, we always choked.

We are young, inexperienced, but have some swagger again that we have not had since Kiffin. (
Yea kiffin is a Douche, but you didn't see us back down to Bama...had Lincoln not had a hamstring injury, and Kiffin made him kick anyways, we win that game.
The swag is back. You won't see this team fold, because Butch Please, we got this.

I love Thig but if that's all it takes to derail this dynasty dream then I'll take the wait and see approach.

All these threads are making me think if we have a 9-3 or even 10-2 type season in 2016 some people will be *****ing and moaning that Butch isn't getting enough out of the talent. I wish people would just ctf down and enjoy the process.

Didn't say it would derail, just said its one be one of the many things that would add up to derailings. One coach doesn't make the team.

CBJ has only one full recruiting class and they haven't played a down yet. Only a few of the 2013 recruits are CBJ players and for the most part they were last second reaches. The 2013 class is actually very weak after losing Ferguson, Brown, Harris and Carr.
