Let's play one game this season before we start claiming we are going to have a dynasty. OP can I get the power all numbers? :)

I've lost track of how many threads like this have popped up over the past 5 years. Always on the verge of turning things around.

The good news is that statistically, eventually, one of you will be right.

Now who wants to hear a story about a bridge?

Agreed, but this is Butch's 2nd year. He has weeded out those who don't WANT to win. Has a second class of his guys. There is only two classes left of Dools on the team. 33 plus 20ish are CBJs players.

We saw a UT team that would have folded against UGA, and USCjr and almost beat UGA and did beat USCjr. The "we can't win mentality" is gone. We finished the job against USCjr, which having had so many chances under Dools, we always choked.

We are young, inexperienced, but have some swagger again that we have not had since Kiffin. (
Yea kiffin is a Douche, but you didn't see us back down to Bama...had Lincoln not had a hamstring injury, and Kiffin made him kick anyways, we win that game.
The swag is back. You won't see this team fold, because Butch Please, we got this.

The bolded part simply isn't true. In 2012, UT went on the road against a MUCH better UGA team and was down by double digits twice and had the ball driving at the end.

Similar to the USCjr. game. UT had the ball driving late.

The Dooley years were a disaster, but you can't simply label the players as losers. It's not accurate, for 1 and they're Vols!

In 100 years people will view Tennessee as a great dynasty that came flying out of darkness in the year 2014 , to begin a new decade of dominance. They will say, " you just don't see teams dominate like Tennessee used to do in this day and age".

In 100 years, they'll be playing flag football because the contact is "too dangerous". They'll view us like we view the gladiators lol.

Yes we had a chance and we choked as I said. For some reason we always had something that held us back. Whether it be a late INT or the one time Clowney gets free we fumble the game away. Chance after chance we never punched through. Last year we never showed and ounce of fold.

Again, not true. Against UGA, UT blew it. I won't say they choked, because it was a great comeback and effort but to let UGA drive all the way down the field and score was a shame.

As far as folding goes, listen to Fual Reveiz on the Auburn post game show. He basically said the team quit in that game.

Losing takes its toll, I get it. But don't act like this was/is all on Dooley. All last off-season, all we heard was how the culture was changed at UT. It has begun to change, but it's not there, yet.

I know this could seem doubtful and surely will get some flaming over this, but I remember back when I was a senior in high school, my basketball team was playing Turner County in GA. It was the Saturday we played LSU in the SEC title game with Ainge.

I told my coach during warm ups (he was a Bama Fan) that I had a strong feeling Bama was on the Verge of a Dyansty.

I'm so excited now because I'm getting that same exact feeling about our Vols. I feel Dormady is gonna be code to a Peyton (of course no will be Peyton) and i dont know if we will wkn the Natty yet, but i feel we will come close. I really hope it comes true!!! GBO!!

Cool story bro

I won't say we're on the edge of a "dynasty" per se... but I will say this: Look around and it's all positive news about our program, and that will eventually translate into the W-L column. We came very close with a lack of serious offensive weapons (except maybe Neal and North) to a 7-5 season, if it weren't for Pig (I'm not fully blaming him, those two plays should give him reason to be a leader and play maker this year). We may be young but this team will be the most talented we've seen in a while. Success is happening off the field for sure. We have, according to scout, the number one recruit in America, Khalil McKenzie, blowing up the recruiting trail for us. These young guys want to play along side the best. This is all a vital recipe for success and if these coaches are half of what we think they are, they'll win with the amount of talent we'll have by next year. Good times are coming.
