Captain America Movie Plot Revealed

The official plot for Captain America has been released, and it seems it does indeed take place completely during the 1940s, which I think is pretty cool. I just wish the official title, The First Avenger: Captain America was reversed to Captain America: The First Avenger.

I think Aaron Eckhart would make a good Cap. America, but since he was Two-Face in The Dark Knight I don't see that happening. But only someone with a strong chin and jaw line should be the Captain.

Oh, and NO WILL SMITH!!!

word that the villain in the movie (comic book Nazi-esque supervillain the Red Skull) will be played by Hugo Weaving

any thoughts?

Isn't the guy that played Johnny Storm in the Fantastic (not so much) Four movies going to play Captain America?

That's the current rumor, yeah that Chirs Evans is close to being cast

Odd choice only because this is one of Marvel's "continuity" projects, and for those they really seem like they want to avoid overlapping characters/actors. Though I guess there's a chance if this goes through, Fantastic Four might be soon getting recast as well

I was going to see it on matinee today but woke up with a killer sinus headache.

It's been getting good reviews so I'm optimistic. So far I've enjoyed the superhero movies enough this summer, though Green Latern is kinda lame.
