She says her experiences as a mother, writer, and fund raiser have prepared her for public office. :eek:lol:

The last thing this nation needs is another damn Kennedy in the Senate. The previous bunch have done enough damage.

I don't know and honestly don't care. Last I read was that Franken had moved ahead but that it might be temporary. I said earlier that if Harold Ford Jr. still wants to be a U.S. Senator he should move to Minnesota. How could he lose to those guys? Oh wait, it is Minnesota, maybe Prince could run.

It turns out that Caroline Kennedy failed to vote in numerous elections since she registered to vote in New York City in 1988. For example, she managed to skip the primary races for mayor in 1989, 1993, 1997, and 2005. She also missed both the primary and general elections in 1994, when Sen. Daniel Moynihan was running for reelection to the seat Kennedy hopes to fill. In all, Kennedy apparently did not vote in nearly half of the 38 contested elections since 1988, almost all of them primaries.

Kennedy claims that 9/11 prompted her to become more involved in civic life. Yet she didn't make it to the polls in 2002 and 2005 either.

Abe Greenwald suggests that it was the Obama phenomenon, not 9/11, that finally prompted Kennedy to wonder (a) what she could do for her country and (b) what her celebrity would enable her to do.

Kennedy may well be among the millions inspired by Obama this year. Unfortunately, she is no more qualified for public office than most of those millions.

It is only YOUR opinion Obama is not qualified. Many more qualified opinions say otherwise. Also, if you have been watching him for the past year and can still make the statement that he isn't qualified speaks volumes about your lack of "qualifications" as a citizen of the US

She needs a speach coach so she can get rid of all those "Ahh's and Umms"

and her qualifications are that she went to an Ivy league Law School, which if her last name was Jones instead of Kennedy then she would not have an Ivy league degree

How do you figure Obama is not a citizen? I think you have every right to say he is not qualified, it's your opinion but I don't know about him not being a citizen.

Paris Hilton is more articulate than Caroline Schlossberg and is just as qualified if all you're wanting out of a senator is a trust fund baby living off the strength of her family name and never had to work a day in her life.

Ever notice so many in the Kennedy clan facially favor each other? The fact that she could talk any man into getting her pregnant says volumes about her verbal influential skills.

Well Mrs Clinton got to live in the White House for eight years and got the nod so the NYers get what they deserve. Hope Hillary doesn't have to dodge any more sniper fire when she takes over as Sec. of State. Maybe NY should consider appointing the White House gardener. I'm sure he has been on the job for many years and has picked up a lot of knowledge during that time.
